The Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival strives to highlight and celebrate the rich and diverse cultural heritage of our community through creative and conscientious musical programming, storytelling, and workshops.
The festival’s 5th season will take place from Aug. 3-11, with a headlining performance at Gene Leahy Mall on August 9th in Omaha and at Antelope Park on August 10th in Lincoln. Other performances, workshops, and events are taking place in various venues throughout Omaha and Lincoln. The festival is now completely FREE for all attendees!
This year festival will feature the return of Authentic Light Orchestra, the Swiss folk-jazz fusion ensemble with Armenian roots (video below), the Dream Warriors, a roster of indigenous artists, including hip-hop artists, poets and visual artists based in the northern plains, , and a collaboration of local Cuban artists including Andy Williams and Humberto Gonzales.
Our overall goal is to continue to expand the global representation of the festival’s productions and promote Nebraska and Nebraskan artists all over the world.

- FREE this year, the festival features 12-18 internationally-recognized touring artists.
- This year's festival features a Laboratory for the international and local artists’ collaboration under which new pieces of art work will be created.
