What We Do

Nebraska Adaptive Sports provides adaptive sports opportunities in the local community that benefit youth to adults through multiple sport opportunities and helping cover cost of sports and adaptive equipment.
The purpose of NAS is to provide athletic and recreational opportunities to children and adults in our communities who experience physical disabilities. NAS members may have been born with physical disabilities or may have acquired them through accidents, illnesses or through working to guarantee freedom as part of the United States military. Because of physical limitations, our athletes are not able to participate in able bodied sports and are not served by sports programs that focus on the developmentally disabled.

Interesting Info

The Red Dawgs youth wheelchair team is placed 3rd and 4th in the nation.
Physical activity for those with disabilities improves health outcomes.
We want to continue to provide opportunities to families to stay active.
