What We Do
Nebraska Adaptive Sports provides adaptive sports programs in the local community, which benefit youth and adults. NAS helps cover the cost of sports participation and provides adaptive equipment. The purpose of NAS is to provide athletic and recreational opportunities to children and adults in our communities who experience physical disabilities. NAS members may have been born with physical disabilities or may have acquired them through accidents, illnesses or through working to guarantee freedom as part of the United States military. Because of physical limitations, our athletes are not able to participate in able bodied sports and are not served by sports programs that focus on the developmentally disabled.
