Miss Amazing provides opportunities for girls and women with disabilities to consider their goals, step outside of their comfort zones, and build networks of support. By investing in girls with disabilities, Miss Amazing nurtures a strong community of leaders who push back against stereotypes and advocate for change, thereby creating even greater opportunities for the next generation.
Miss Amazing equips girls and women with disabilities with practical tools to own their stories, build upon their strengths, and author their life plans.
The organization creates opportunities for girls and women with disabilities to build meaningful relationships with their peers and empower parents, family members, and support professionals to be effective allies.
Miss Amazing engages students, employers, communities, and the media to address deeply-held values and attitudes that stigmatize disability.
Lastly, the organization advocates for laws, policies, and services that make it possible for girls and women with disabilities to meet their basic needs and exercise personal autonomy.
