What We Do
Through recreational programs, support groups and community outreach, the Midwest YouCan Foundation helps people with epilepsy establish meaningful relationships, strengthen self-confidence and explore their independence with a focus on all the things they can do — as individuals and as members of a supportive community.
As our flagship program, Camp YouCan helps campers step out of their comfort zone in a fun, safe environment — all in the company of other campers who understand the day-to-day challenges of living with epilepsy. Every experience is designed to help our campers build self-confidence, develop meaningful relationships and discover a world of dreams they can achieve.
Interesting Info
Camp YouCan is one of the only camps for kids with epilepsy in the Midwest.
Campers come from Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas and Missouri.
In addition to Camp YouCan, we offer a Family Camp, a Young Adults with Epilepsy group, and the Nebraska Epilepsy Run, Walk and Roll.
