What We Do
Our primary responsibility is to monitor the USDA - Child and Adult Care Food Program in Nebraska's child care facilities. We have a membership of over 700 child care facilities throughout the state. We train these professionals in child nutrition, health, safety and physical activities. In addition, we provide training in business and management of child care facilities. Midwest has always been considered a leader in the fields of early childhood education and child care. It has won many distinguished awards and our staff have been called upon to serve on numerous committees and boards locally and nationwide.

- We have served 3,000 low income children reimbursed for meals in homes and 3,300 low income children for meals in centers.
- We've served 515 home childcare centers and 65 childcare facilities.
