What We Do
MAYS (Metro Area Youth Services) Foundation exists to support and develop youth in our community, despite their challenging backgrounds. Our mission is to identify strengths and weaknesses of youth with challenging backgrounds and provide programming that uncovers hidden skills and talents, while forming ongoing community partnerships enabling us to provide additional services to support youth and their families. We help our youth find a passion, a vision, ways to overcome adversity, become teachable, and learn to give back!

- This year, our second annual Haunted House was attended by 395 community members and we gave away over 50 pounds of candy in one night!
- Our CEO provides free haircuts to program involved youth.
- Each summer, MAYS takes 10-20 gang affiliated young men on an outdoor adventure and development trip to Colorado where they camp, whitewater raft, and more!
