What We Do

Lost Pets of Omaha Area is dedicated to reuniting lost pets with their loving families. Over the past decade, we've successfully reunited more than 20,000 lost pets with their owners. Our mission extends beyond just maintaining a vibrant and well-moderated Facebook page with almost 60,000 engaged followers.

We are a proactive force in reuniting pets. Depending on the unique circumstances, we offer a range of assistance, including providing safe traps, deploying cellular trail cameras, offering signage support, and actively participating in on-site searches. Our network comprises over 20 dedicated individuals located throughout the greater Omaha metro area, each equipped with microchip readers. These readers are readily available to check lost pets for microchips, increasing the chances of a swift and cost-effective reunion.

Additionally, we've sponsored numerous low-cost pet microchipping clinics to encourage responsible pet ownership. Microchipped pets not only stand a better chance of finding their way back home but also save owners time and money in the process. Our strong partnership with the Nebraska Humane Society aligns perfectly with our shared goal: the welfare and happiness of your beloved pets.
