What We Do

Reuniting Lost Pets with Heart and Hustle

At Lost Pets of Omaha Area, we’re on a mission to bring lost pets back to their loving families—and we’ve been doing it with passion for over a decade. Since we started, we’ve celebrated over 30,000 joyful reunions, proving that hope and hard work can make miracles happen. Our vibrant Facebook community of 66,000+ dedicated followers is more than just a page—it’s a lifeline for pets and their people.

We don’t just wait for happy endings; we chase them. Our team dives into action with tailored support for every lost pet case, offering:

  • High-tech tools like safe traps, cellular trail cameras, and thermal imaging drones to track down furry escape artists.

  • Boots-on-the-ground efforts, including on-site searches and strategic signage to spread the word.

  • A microchip network of 35+ compassionate volunteers across the Omaha metro area, armed with readers to scan lost pets and spark speedy reunions.

We’re also champions of prevention. Our $10 microchip clinics, hosted in partnership with American Animal Hospital, make it affordable to give pets a ticket home. Microchipped pets are far more likely to be reunited quickly, saving families heartache and expense. Alongside our friends at the Nebraska Humane Society, we’re building a community where every pet is safe, loved, and never far from home.

Join us in our heartfelt mission to ensure every wagging tail and purring pal finds their way back to the arms of their family!
