What We Do

The League of Women Voters of Greater Omaha, a nonpartisan political organization, encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy. The goal of the League of Women Voters is to empower citizens to shape better communities worldwide. Volunteers in our organization attend various community events throughout the Omaha metro to encourage voter registration, voter education, and civic engagement. We host a local tv show called Go Vote Omaha, also found on Youtube where we host shows about candidate forums, local initiatives, and more!
