What We Do

Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon (IHJ) engages the youth of our community in physical fitness through a free triathlon training program. IHJ inspires our youth to get moving and accomplish what seems impossible. We make it a priority to be an ethnically, economically and physically diverse youth organization, to always be kind, and to create a positive from a negative.

Ironhawk Juniors Triathlon was created in 2018 to build confidence and empower girls 8-14 years old.

Interesting Info

In 2018, 213 girls, ages 8-14, participated in the Ironhawk Juniors multi-week training program and race. In 2019, we had 272 participants!
Since 2018, we have taught 223 girls how to swim, how to ride a bike, or moved girl from a beginner category to intermediate in those skills.
