What We Do

The International Council for Refugees and Immigrants (ICRI) is dedicated to providing immediate philanthropic support to vulnerable and underserved refugee and immigrant populations.

ICRI serves all immigrant and refugee communities in the Omaha Metro Area. Our mission is to improve the lives of refugees and immigrants by offering culturally and linguistically appropriate, client-centered services and advocacy. We deliver support that respects diverse cultural backgrounds, ensures linguistic accessibility, and focuses on the unique needs of each individual or family.

Our diverse range of services includes case management, immigration legal assistance, health promotion, domestic violence supportive services, mental health advocacy, career and economic development programs, and reception and placement through our resettlement program. We also offer youth programming, which include the Bridge to Prosperity mentoring program and the Amplify STEM After School program.

At ICRI, we are committed to helping refugees and immigrants rebuild their lives and thrive in new communities.
