What We Do
Did you know that there are no accessible and inclusive playgrounds west of 84th Street in Omaha? Yeah, we were shocked too and that is how Imagine Inclusion was born! We are working to build an accessible & inclusive playground at Zorinsky Lake. We have teamed up with Omaha Parks & Recreation to build a playground where everyone, no matter ability, socioeconomic status, or geography can have a great time outdoors close to home.
All donations are being matched up to $100K through 12/31/2023. Hitting this goal will ensure the playground is installed in the Spring 2024! Thank you so much for your consideration!
Interesting Info
- This playground will have 2 ramp entrances/exits--that is rare, but will help with the flow of play!
- There will be no sand at this playground! This will make it easier for everyone to get around.
- This will be the first accessible and inclusive playground west of 84th street in Omaha!
