The House Experience

God designed marriage and family to be the nucleus of civilization. Parents teach children to become positive citizens of this world and of God’s Kingdom. Thus, the stability of a society depends on the stability of the families that comprise it. "As the family goes, so goes the nation."

The House Experience believes, and social science demonstrates, children and adults thrive in a family structure. However, because we are broken and sinful, we often experience brokenness in our family relationships. If we all lived according to God’s design, our family relationships would be more fulfilling than anything we could ever imagine.

In partnership with Family Life, Thrivent Financial and KCRO, the purpose of this ministry is to help pre-married and married couples draw nearer to God and each other through local one-day marriage retreats called The Marriage Experience and other resources.

The Marriage Experience is a one-of-a-kind marriage retreat designed to help you relax and connect with your spouse or fiancée. Spend the day exploring the 25-acre property along the Platte River while participating in sessions and activities that will breathe new life into your relationship. On Saturday evening, enjoy a romantic date night complete with a professionally catered dinner at your own private bistro table and live music.
