What We Do
Heartland Hope Mission provides basic necessities and services to help the working poor get back on their feet. We are more than a pantry, providing clients with resources to be food secure and self-sufficient in a hope-filled environment.
Families can visit once a month to receive a week’s supply of food, as well as hygiene items, clothing and household items. Clients work towards self-sufficiency by speaking with a Client Service Specialist to receive additional resources, assistance with applying for food stamps and employment information.
Currently, we are serving families in a drive-thru format to continue providing for the needs of the community in a safe way, due to the covid-19 pandemic.
Interesting Info
Each year, over 6,000 individuals volunteer at Heartland Hope Mission, totaling over 20,000 hours of community service.
Heartland Hope Mission bridges the gap between homelessness and self-sufficiency.
We put 95% of all monetary donations directly into client services.
