Set up like a grocery store, our Choice Food Pantry allows individuals and families to select from a variety of fresh produce, frozen meat, dairy, bakery items and shelf-stable products. In 2024, we will distribute more than 4 million pounds of food to over 100,000 community members.
Our Monen Healthcare Clinic offers free medical, dental, vision, pediatrics, PT/OT and mental health care for families in need. We have a full time pediatrician and nurse practitioner and we also partner with practitioners from Creighton University and other healthcare providers. The Monen Healthcare clinic provides compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals who otherwise would not receive the care they need. In 2024, the clinic will provide care to 6,000 patients, saving community members over $1,000,000 in healthcare costs.
Empowering participants to make lasting changes in their lives, our Fresh Start Job Placement Program is a 15-20 week program of intensive job training and personal development. The Center has provided employment placement assistance for each of the 145 graduates of the program.
Our Willing Partners Program offers a variety of resources including debt management, legal assistance, parenting classes, budgeting, and others. Navigators meet with community members to develop a long-term plan for self-sufficiency.
