Our Mission: Haven Animal Rescue Nebraska is where animals come first! We are a foster based all-volunteer rescue that is devoted to rescuing and rehoming abandoned, suffering, and homeless dogs and cats of all breeds. Haven Animal Rescue Nebraska provides loving homes, medical care, socialization, and rehabilitation until each animal's forever home is found. We are dedicated to not just finding any adoptive home but the best fitting home for every individual animal and adoptive family.
About Us: We are located in Omaha, NE with approved foster homes in surrounding areas. We do not have a physical facility, so potential adopters are able to meet our available animals through appointments after their applications are approved. Our organization is comprised entirely of devoted volunteers. We are always looking to add committed volunteers and fosters to the Haven family that are like minded in their passion for saving animals! We value honesty, integrity, and respect for all living creatures as well as transparency in throughout our entire organization. Please reach out if you are interested in joining our Haven family!
Our Vision: We strive to find the perfect home for our rescued animals and to educate the community on responsible pet ownership. We believe that all animals deserve a loving family, no matter how long it takes, and we will continually endeavor to make this vision come true.
- Our organization is comprised ENTIRELY of devoted volunteers. We simply love animals and believe in being a voice for the voiceless.
- ALL of our adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, fully vetted and vaccinated, microchipped, and much more as needed (fecals, dentals, surgeries, etc).
- We also hold free and low cost vaccine/microchip clinics in our community and cover the spay/neuter costs for low income pet parents when we're able to.
