What We Do
The Gretna Public Schools Foundation's mission is to enhance the schools educational quality for the benefit of the students and residents of the Gretna School District.
Each year we support our staff through classroom grants as well as higher educational scholarships that allows teachers to become Dual Credit Teachers. We also help graduating seniors with scholarships to further their education after graduation.
The Foundation is actively working to enhance our portfolio of programs we offer to the school district and support student and staff needs. In the Spring of 2023 we started our Educational Excellence Awards Program, sponsored by MCL Construction, that allowed us to give awards to 15 very deserving staff members. We look forward to continuing this program and many others through the support of the community.
