What We Do
Green Bellevue promotes a more beautiful and environmentally-friendly community by helping individuals and groups undertake programs to enhance our neighborhoods, preserve our natural resources, and foster stewardship of our environment. We are a grassroots organization supported by volunteers who are individual citizens, businesses and organizations, schools, and public entities from Bellevue, Sarpy County, and the greater metro area.
Interesting Info
Green Bellevue hosts monthly programs on environmental topics as well as the annual Sarpy County Earth Day celebration.
Every year our board and volunteers help beautify natural spaces by planting trees, maintaining public pollinator gardens, and removing invasive species.
Green Bellevue has played a big part in advancing the city's recycling program through education and the purchasing of public recycling bins.
