The Friends of the Bellevue Public Library fulfill special needs of the library that are not funded by the city. We connect the community with the library by providing funds through our fundraising efforts, advocacy and volunteers as well as sponsoring community programs. We look forward to continuing and growing our mission in 2024! Our goals for 2023 include: Providing funding and support for the move to the new library location; Assisting with funds to purchase a 3D Carving Machine and a Publishing Platform for the library's Makers Space; Double our membership and fundraising; Sponsor a program or guest speaker every month; Continue to work with adult library programs and expand our involvement with the children and young adult programs; Have a dedicated space in the library to inform patrons of our programs and activities; Work with organizations in the community to promote the library and its programs
- Our programs include: Home Bound Member Services; Community Programs; Library Week; and Coffee Corner.
