What We Do
The Empowerment Network transforms the economic condition and quality of life of African-Americans, North Omaha residents, and citizens of the greater Omaha area to close long-standing gaps in employment, education, housing, and other qualities of life. We address these disparities by building wealth and income, creating strong families, preparing successful children, and rebuilding thriving neighborhoods.
Interesting Info
The Empowerment Network has been recognized locally and nationally as a model for transformative change in urban communities.
Nearly 700 youth and young adults were served in the Step-Up Omaha! program.
Our goal is for an engaged and empowered community where African Americans, North Omaha residents, and citizens in every zip code are thriving and prosperous.
