At Educare of Omaha, Inc., we believe everyone deserves a fair chance to achieve their dreams and it starts by leveling the playing field from the day we are born. We work to eliminate the opportunity gap for young children in Omaha and help them build the skills necessary for success in kindergarten and beyond.
Our five schools in North and South Omaha provide full-day, year-round early education to infants, toddlers and preschoolers. Our on-site health and nutrition program provides health screenings, education and support, access to equitable healthcare, immunization reviews, and nutrition menus for breakfast, lunch and snacks. Our program is inclusive, and offers high-quality curriculum to engage children at appropriate development stages. Students experience small class sizes and high student to teacher ratios. Finally, staff partner with parents, the child's first and best teachers, to support parents to be advocates and champions of their children's education.
- Students with high‑quality early childhood experiences are more likely to graduate from high school on time, and have a higher income as adults.
- Research shows at-risk children who experience Educare for a full five years arrive at elementary school performing on par with average kindergartners.
- Since 2003, Educare Omaha has served over 2500 children ensuring their preparation to enter kindergarten on grade and ready to learn.
