What We Do
Dollar Energy Fund provides utility assistance to limited-income households in Nebraska through our partnerships with Metropolitan Utilities District and Omaha Public Power District. With many households experiencing pandemic-related financial hardships and facing higher utility bills from the winter's usage, the assistance available through Dollar Energy Fund's partnerships with OPPD and M.U.D. offers a lifeline for those in need. Customers may be eligible to receive funds that are applied directly to their utility bill. This program is designed to provide assistance above and beyond what is available through federal, state and other programs.
