What We Do

A Library of Congress Literacy honoree, DIBS for Kids is a children's literacy program. Our classroom libraries and innovative lending technology Deliver Infinite Book Shelves to students so they can read a new book every night. We provide books, a QR-code driven book distribution system, training, and support over 200 elementary school classrooms and over 4,500 children. Our mission is to help schools provide every child with access to powerful in-home reading experiences, every school night. We hope to build a passion for reading that becomes a path toward achieving third grade reading proficiency. We work throughout Omaha, greater Nebraska, Iowa, and beyond so students take home on average three books per week to read at home. DIBS for Kids is experiencing significant demand for our program. We need more funding for books and key program materials. Help us start a revolution to Deliver Infinite Book Shelves to even more children this year!
