Everyday Community Alliance helps individuals overcome mental health challenges so they can thrive in our community. Community Alliance was started in 1981 by a coalition of families and community leaders as a response to the lack of services in Omaha for persons with mental illness. Our mission is helping individuals with mental health and substance use challenges achieve their unique potential and to live, work, learn, and contribute in a community of mutual support. We make positive outcomes possible by offering a whole-person approach, including psychiatric and counseling services integrated with primary health care and a range of rehabilitation, employment and community supports. We meet clients where they are and work with them to address specific needs as they work toward recovery. We work to erase the stigma surrounding mental illness, and we advocate for greater access to the life-restoring services that can make healing possible.
- Each year, Community Alliance serves over 6,000 individuals. Of those, 94% live at or below the poverty line at the time of admission.
- Last year, 98% of family members and community partners reported satisfaction with Community Alliance
- We integrate mental and physical health care for a whole-person approach to recovery.
