What We Do

The Christopher Bremer Foundation aims to be the bridge that connects those in need with the support and resources necessary for mental health and suicide prevention. At the heart of our foundation lies a story of love, loss, and a commitment to preventing others from experiencing the same pain we felt. Christopher Bremer, our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, left us too soon, just two weeks after celebrating his 30th birthday on July 17, 2020. To honor Chris's memory, the Christopher Bremer Foundation has developed many initiatives to bring light to mental health and suicide prevention in the Omaha area. We host an annual golf tournament fundraiser with over 200 guests in attendance. We also assist in supplying local schools with therapy tools for students in need of support. Most recently, we have opened "The Link at Bennington", a walk-in clinic, free of cost for the public to see a trained counselor for mental health services.

With your help, we can make a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most. By removing barriers, advocating connectedness, and encouraging others to "Be A Link", you become a vital part of our mission.

Your support allows us to:

Provide Resources: Contribute to initiatives that offer mental health resources and support to those facing challenges.

Raise Awareness: Help us spread the message of connectedness and mental health awareness to prevent the loss of precious lives.

Create Change: Support our efforts to break down the stigma surrounding mental health and create a society where everyone feels valued and understood.

Together, we can honor Chris's memory by building a world where no one feels alone, where love and support are readily available, and where the darkness of mental health struggles can be illuminated by the light of compassion.
