What We Do

Basset and Beagle Rescue of the Heartland (BBRH) is an all volunteer organization devoted to the rescuing and rehoming of bassets and beagles in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri, and Iowa. This past year we have been hit very hard, having to cancel both our major fundraisers, but the requests to rescue dogs and give them second chances is only growing. We provide full vetting and care for all of our dogs and our adoption fee often only covers a fraction of the cost. Any donation of time, money or wish list items is greatly appreciated and helps us continue to help save these dog's lives.

Interesting Info
  • In the past 15 years we have saved over 3000 animals.
  • We rescue and find loving homes for over 250 dogs a year.
