Formerly Aunt Phyllis' Legacy Dance Studio, AP's Legacy Academy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to nurturing young artists through a comprehensive dance education. Our dedicated instructors provide a rigorous curriculum that encompasses a wide range of dance styles, including ballet, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and tap. We foster a supportive and inclusive environment where students can develop their technical skills, explore their creativity, and build a strong foundation for future artistic endeavors.
In addition to our regular classes, we offer exciting performance opportunities, including recitals and our annual production of The Legacy of the Wiz, a reimagined adaptation of the iconic Broadway musical The Wiz. Our studio students have the opportunity to audition for the main roles in this production, while our classes contribute to the vibrant ensemble scenes.
Looking ahead, we plan to expand our offerings to include programs in financial literacy, reading, and secondary education. These initiatives align with our commitment to providing a well-rounded education that empowers our students not only artistically but also academically and personally.
