Audubon Great Plains
What We Do
Audubon Great Plains (Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota), as part of the National Audubon Society, protects birds and the places they need, today and tomorrow using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. At Spring Creek Prairie Audubon Center in Denton, NE, we focus on the conservation of tallgrass prairie. At Iain Nicolson Audubon Center at Rowe Sanctuary in Gibbon, NE, we focus on the conservation of the Platte River ecosystem and the birds that rely on it.
