What We Do
Assistance League of Omaha is a volunteer service organization whose members fund philanthropic programs to serve children and adults in the community. ALO's flagship program is Operation School Bell® that provides clothing for approximately 4,000 children in need throughout greater Omaha. Other programs include: Operation Teen Parent, Operation Bear Hug, Assault Survivor Kits®, Operation Recovery, and Operation Literacy.

- We provide new school clothing annually to over 4000 children in need from Omaha area school districts, both public and parochial.
- Our Assistance League Thrift shop is open at 8502 West Center Road on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 10-4 and Saturday 10-2.
- Our primary sources of funding comes from our Thrift Shop, donations and grants.
