Asha’s House is an overnight respite and retreat service designed to support parents and caregivers of disabled persons in a safe, comfortable and loving environment. Clients can stay up to seven days in one of our seven themed bedrooms. Monday through Friday clients can participate in the Learning Center with an opportunity to expand their educational knowledge according to their individual level of comprehension. A place of belonging where they can socialize and learn new skills all while having fun. The goal of Asha’s House is to give parents and caregivers an opportunity to refresh themselves both physically and mentally, and for their loved ones to have the same opportunity in a retreat like setting. Our vision is to build a second Asha's House as funds are made available to us.
- In 2020 Asha's House partnered with Easter Seals and Down Syndrome Alliance through live cooking programs.
- According to the 2018 census bureau there were 45,000 young disabled adults in the age 18-34 group.
- We hope to provide indoor and outdoor activities as well as educational, etiquette, cooking classes, and many more activities.
