What We Do
For nearly 60 years, the ACLU of Nebraska has protected and expanded civil rights and liberties in the courts, the legislature, and our communities.
Our work is rooted in justice and driven by the people—beyond partisanship, beyond politics.
We champion the rights of those most impacted by systemic injustice, including people of color, LGBTQ+ Nebraskans, Nebraskans who are presently or formerly incarcerated, Nebraskans who are Immigrants and Refugees, Nebraskans with disabilities, and Nebraskans who can become pregnant.
