What We Do
For over 50 years in Nebraska, the ACLU has worked in courts, legislatures, and communities to protect the constitutional and individual rights of all people. Beyond one person, party, or side - we the people dare to create a more perfect union. ACLU-NE's work is intersectional and we prioritize underrepresented groups and individuals who have most frequently been denied their constitutional rights including people of color, LGBTQ+ Nebraskans, Nebraskans who are presently or formerly incarcerated, Nebraskans who are Immigrants and Refugees, Nebraskans with disabilities, and Nebraskans who can become pregnant.
