Access Period’s mission is to end period poverty in Nebraska. We serve anyone who needs access to free menstrual products through strategic partnerships with community organizations, schools, and free Access Points throughout Nebraska.
We envision a Nebraska where our neighbors aren’t held back from participating fully in life because they lack access to affordable menstrual products. We operate from a place of abundance, providing more than enough in our 3-month period product kits. This creates opportunities to work, go to school, and have more worry-free days.
We believe access to basic needs, including menstrual products, is a human right. The people we serve deserve to learn, work, rest, and achieve their goals without the barrier of period poverty.
- Access Period has distributed more than 1 million free period products in Nebraska.
- We provide 3-month kits with tampons or pads, liners, personal wipes, and disposal bags.
- Along with serving Omaha, we provide period products to Nebraskans in Lincoln, Norfolk, Fremont, Kearney, Hastings, Scottsbluff, and surrounding areas.
