Restoring Dignity is honored to invite you to our second Welcome Home Gala on Thursday, April 24th, 2025! This incredible evening is not only a celebration but is a critical way for us to raise the funds needed to continue providing essential services to Omaha’s refugee community.
In 2024 alone, Restoring Dignity provided high-quality in-home education, housing research, and housing advocacy services to over 7,000 refugees in Omaha. However, the need continues to grow – our waitlist currently includes a staggering 3,143 families representing 9,427 classes needing to be taught. Your support has never been more important!
Join us at the Yates Illuminates building (3260 Davenport Street), located across from Midtown Crossing, for a celebration filled with joy and culture. Savor a diverse culinary experience, with dishes from local refugee-owned restaurants, enjoy our open beer and wine bar, and sip on our exclusive cocktail! For tea enthusiasts, we’ll feature a carefully curated selection of teas that highlight the rich cultures within our city. And while you’re indulging these delights, you’ll be treated to live performances featuring entertainers from Omaha’s refugee community.
