Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival

Our Mission
The Nebraska Crossroads Music Festival strives to highlight and celebrate
the rich and diverse cultural heritage of our community through creative
and conscientious musical programming storytelling and workshops.
 

The Festival is multiple days of:
• Transformative performances with world-class artists
• Jam sessions open to public participation
• Storytelling slams
• Baby concert and kids’ workshops
• Film Screenings/ Social Events
 

The Artists
• 12-18 internationally-recognized touring artists
• 40-50 local artists and storytellers, representing cultural traditions that
span the globe and call Nebraska home.
• Mulitple GRAMMY® winners and nominees, Guggenheim Fellows,
etc.
 

The Concerts
Multiple genres including classical chamber music/world music/folk
music/traditional music/hip-hop/singer-songwriter and much more.
Always representing the highest artistic standard and telling the stories
of our community. We also pride ourselves on performing in creative
venues – the right place for the best experience, including:

• Johnny Carson Center for Emerging Media
 

Cross-Cultural Exchange
Nebraska has become a truly multi-cultural center. The festival buzzes
with an electric synergy between visiting and local artists and the
community.
