Event:
Live @ LOW END | Ben Vida with Yarn/Wire

Ben Vida with Russell Greenberg and Laura Barger of Yarn/Wire present a trio version of Vida’s The Beat My Head Hit (Shelter Press, 2023). Vida’s stream-of-semi-consciousness typographical scores produces near hypnotic effects as synchronized voices, synthesized electronics, piano and vibraphone blend and unfurl into multifaceted stories, textures and rhythms.

Ben Vida lives and works in New York. He holds a Master's of Fine Arts from Bard College. As an artist and composer, he has been an active member of the international experimental music community for two decades with a long list of collaborators, projects and releases to his credit.

Yarn/Wire is a new music quartet dedicated to the promotion of creative, meaningful live musical experiences in the US and abroad. Yarn/Wire achieves this by supporting composers and audiences through live performances, educational activities, and large-scale collaborative projects. Their artistic programming is driven by the desire to present music that reflects the full spectrum of our community at the highest level.
