Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA)

Heartland Equine Therapeutic Riding Academy (HETRA) asks you to join them for this year’s
Drive to Ride Fun Run on Saturday, October 15th at the HETRA Barn, 10130 S 222nd Street
Gretna, NE. Check-in begins at 8:00 AM with the event to follow at 9:00 AM. This year, HETRA
saw a 63% increase in financial assistance requests from their participants families. This in-
person event will kick off the 2022 Drive to Ride Campaign, where 100% of the funds raised will
go directly towards their Participant Sponsorship Fund, helping keep program costs affordable
so that families of all socioeconomic statuses can continue to participate. With an All-Terrain
Route, you can Run or Walk a 2K or 5K. There is even a chance for virtual participation, so
there’s something for everyone! Registration is open until the morning of October 15th and can
be found at www.HETRA.org. HETRA is an Equine-Assisted Services Center for adults and
children of all ability levels. Come explore HETRA and enjoy an event filled with fun for the
whole family!
