Join us for our new play By a Thread developed in collaboration with women impacted by incarceration. By a Thread is more than a play—it is a story born from the voices of women impacted by incarceration. Through deep collaboration with women who have lived through the challenges of prison, we’ve created a piece that shines light on their journey through incarceration. It is a story of struggle, strength, and the beauty of sisterhood in the most difficult of circumstances.
Each of our five performances will be followed by a community conversation about the issues raised in the play and criminal justice reform. The conversation is led by system impacted women. We invite our nonprofit partners, State legislators and Nebraska Department of Corrections representative to participate in these conversations and work toward meaningful justice reform.
