The Salvation Army

We all deserve that feeling of coming home, and you can help create that feeling for people in this community.

Through our community support and veterans programs, The Salvation Army provides safe independent living environments and stability for those in need. You can add a level of comfort to these apartment homes. Before a new resident moves in, we want their new apartment to feel warm and welcoming. 

As the Welcome Home Basket Creator, you will put together baskets of housewarming items for new residents. Linens, cleaning supplies, decorations, Notes of Encouragement-we have it all on site! We just need YOU to pull it all together. Our Cleaning and Cozy Crew will place the baskets in the homes when a new resident is scheduled to move in. 

This opportunity is best for adults 18 and older, however, with an adult present, youth can assist. We need your help on the second Saturday of each month for this activity.
