The Salvation Army

We all deserve that feeling of coming home, and you can help create that feeling for people in this community.

Through our community support and veterans programs, The Salvation Army provides safe independent living environments and stability for those in need. You can add a level of comfort to these apartment homes. Before a new resident moves in, we want their new apartment to feel warm and welcoming. 

As part of the Clean and Cozy Crew, you'll make the apartment shine with some light cleaning and organization before a new resident arrives. But cleaning doesn't make a house a home so we need your decorator's touch. You'll get to use items provided from a Welcome Basket such as décor items, linens, and Notes of Encouragement to fill the space with warmth. We will have all supplies needed on site. 

This opportunity is best for adults 18 and older. We need your help on the second Wednesday of each month for this activity.
