Restoring Dignity

We are seeking volunteers to help at the Grand Opening of Yates Illuminates (Restoring Dignity's new home!) on Sunday, April 28, 2024!  This exciting event will include a ribbon-cutting, performances, activities, and tours to welcome the community to Yates Illuminates.  Volunteers are needed to help set-up, clean-up, greet guests, and supervise activities.  Shifts are available from 11:30 to 2:30 (set-up and first half of the event) or 2:30 to 5:00 (second half of the event and clean-up).  You are welcome to enjoy the event before or after your shift!

About Yates Illuminates:

Yates Illuminates is a coalition of nonprofit partners committed to providing adult education, employment services and a nurturing community.  Formerly the home of Yates Elementary School at 3260 Davenport Street, the historic building has been recently renovated to hold office and community space for several non-profits, many of whom serve the immigrant and refugee communities.
