Durham Museum

If you love interacting with people, these positions are perfect for you! Volunteers are needed every day and shifts are generally 10am-1pm and 1pm-4pm. 

We need volunteers to help at our Admissions Desk, in our Museum Shop, and as Membership Ambassadors. 

• At Admissions you help collect admission, share the benefits of membership and answer questions about museum layout and programming with guests from all over the world.
• In our museum shop, you can help guests find the perfect piece of history to take home. 
• As a membership ambassador you get to help answer membership and museum related questions and even give away fun prizes!
