Cat team members are needed for daily cat care tasks, which include cleaning, feeding, socializing and potentially administering minor medical treatments like daily medications. They will familiarize themselves with each cat's unique traits by spending quality time with them. Additionally, team members will help ensure that adoption applicants receive the most current information available on the adoption website; by sharing the information they learn about our cats with our Cat Manager and social media Team, helping prospective adopters learn more about the cats! Applicants for our Cat Team should be at least 16 years old and have a basic understanding of cat care.
If you are interested in becoming a Cat Team Member, please fill out our Volunteer Application. Every volunteer must go through training before working with the animals, so once the Volunteer Coordinator has received your application, you will receive an email with a sign-up link where you will go to sign up for training! After you have been trained to work with our cats, you will be able to sign up to volunteer whenever you are available using our sign up genius.
