Learning Community Foundation of Douglas and Sarpy Counties

The Learning Community Center of South Omaha, operated by One World, is seeking volunteers to work with parents who are learning English to better support their young children in school. English As A Second Language (ESL) classes are scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:00am - 12:00pm and 12:40pm - 3:40pm at the Learning Community Center at 2302 M Street, Omaha, NE 68107. Candidates should, ideally, commit to participating for at least one school semester (Spring, Summer or Fall), volunteer a minimum of three hours per week, and have their own transportation. College students are particularly welcome!
