Volunteer Opportunity:
Sack Lunch Program at Holy Family Center / SSVP District Office

Making lunches: Teams of 6-7 volunteers will make up to 300 sack lunches per day, with up to 150 lunches handed out to homeless neighbors and 150 lunches delivered to nearby, low-income, "senior-living" apartments.

Duties include making and bagging meat sandwiches, snacks, vegetables, etc. Volunteers will clean up utensils, tables and floors.

Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 11:30 am.

Commitment to one shift a week is preferred, but not required. 

Many jobs can be accomplished by sitting, although some standing and lifting may be involved.

Compliance with health guidelines and respectful workplace policies, required.

Distributing lunches: One or two individuals to greet and hand out bagged lunches and drinks for up to 150 homeless neighbors from designated "yellow" door.
