Audio Engineer Interns will receive training on professional audio and sound equipment, and learn stagehand and event management tasks. After completing this 3-month/12-event internship, you may apply for the “Assistant Audio Engineer” position.
Requirements: Applicants must be able to attend 10 hours of pre-season training and work a minimum of 12 live events (an average of 4 events per month for 3 months).
Age requirement: 16 years or older. There is no age maximum.
In-person or virtual: In-person only.
Skills: Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 pounds). No prior technical skills required. Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Transportation: Must be able to provide your own transportation to live event locations in North, South and East Omaha. Bus passes will be provided as requested. Training takes place indoors at a downtown Omaha location.
