Ataxia Connection

Our organization is looking to fill a few positions on the organization's Board of Directors.  Responsibilities include:

• Defining and overseeing the mission of this organization and keep it relevant to the needs of our community
• Approving programs and services and monitor their effectiveness
• Providing strategic guidance to the organization and the executive director
• Ensuring financial solvency and help raise resources
• Participating in at least one fundraising opportunity 
• Speaking the message of this organization publicly at civic meetings, i.e. Rotary, Chamber of Commerce, Elks, etc.
• Assisting with annual sponsorship by securing and connecting sponsors and organization

The Board meets every other month for 90 minutes for board meetings.  

• Held the 3rd. Tuesday every other month (Jan, Mar, May, July, Sept, Nov) 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Location: Virtual Zoom

All board members also serve on one committee which meets 2-3 times per year determined by the committee.
