Town and Country Animal Rescue believes in giving every animal a chance. We are a nonprofit, "no time limit" shelter serving eastern Nebraska and beyond. certified by the Best Friends Animal Society as a no-kill shelter exceeding a save rate of 90%.We rescue dogs and cats from high kill shelters and bring them to Omaha for placement in loving, forever homes. We provide educational opportunities We provide volunteer opportunities to youth organizations, companies and individuals. In addition to that we provide emergency boarding for domestic violence victims and are proudly apart of the Purple Leash Project & veterans. We also house Wendy's Food pantry to support our community during hardships and offer low-cost vaccines, testing and microchips to our local community. Your donated gifts from our wish list or financial support helps us provide a safe and caring living facility for pets in need until a loving home can be found.
- Our growth has exploded as we have re-homed more animals than ever before! Last year, we rehomed 300 dogs, 297 cats and 144 critters.
- Located near Papillion, Nebraska on three acres, Town and Country operates with only a handful of paid staff and the help of a group of dedicated volunteers.
