What We Do

Hooves & Paws Rescue of the Heartland is proud to be one of the largest No-Kill Rescues and Licensed Shelters for horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies in Iowa and Nebraska. We also offer a forever home to those who can't be placed due to behavior or medical issues as sanctuary animals.

We provide our rescued horses, donkeys, mules, dogs and puppies with a loving place to call home for a month, a year or perhaps a lifetime.
