What We Do
Good News Jail and Prison Ministry provides chaplains to help meet the spiritual needs of inmates at the Douglas, Sarpy and Pottawattamie County Jails. Men and women find support and guidance to promote beneficial spiritual change and deal with challenging life issues. Also, the New Community Re-Entry Ministry helps recently incarcerated women transition back to society through mentoring and social support.
Interesting Info
Approximately 30,000 individuals are processed through local jails in the Metro area every year.
Good News chaplains currently serve in twenty-two US states.
