What We Do
Council Bluffs Trees Forever develops, encourages and brings about projects that will make Council Bluffs & surrounding communities a better place to live while assisting the national organization with their mission. We offer programs such as the Tree Sale and Heart of the City.
Every year we have a tree sale in the spring for reduced pricing and if the fall we plant free trees as a part of the Heart of the City program.
Council Bluffs Trees Forever started in 1991 with a grant from the national Trees Forever program.

- We love planting trees!!
- Our goal is to help Iowa recover from the loss of about 1/4 of our forests from the 2020 derecho.
- We are always looking for people to join our group & help us get trees planted.
