What We Do
African Culture Connection (ACC) empowers people of all ages with knowledge and understanding that deepens their connection with Africa’s rich cultural legacy and the global community.
ACC is an Omaha-based nonprofit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2006 by Mr. Charles Ahovissi. We offer educational programs and performances led by professional artists, including master dancers, drummers and storytellers from the United States and abroad.
ACC is the only program in Nebraska recognized nationally for its contribution to youth arts and humanities.
